Griesel Motors is a small family owned dealership just northwest of the town of Howard, Kansas in Elk County. We opened in early 2010 and stock mainly diesel 4X4 trucks, David and Sarah Griesel are the owners, David is a native of the Howard area where his parents settled in the early 1970’s. David is also a high school Agriculture Teacher and FFA Advisor and his wife Sarah, originally from Humboldt, Kansas, works for Greenbush as a Family Service Coordinator. We also raise Limousin Cattle on our land and have 2 quarter horses. David’s favorite trucks include his 1969 Chevrolet K10 4X4 followed closely by his 1997 Powerstroke F250 crew. Also included are his 1995 Powerstroke, 1997 F350 Powerstroke feed truck, his 2006 F250 King Ranch that we have owned for over 10 years as well as his 2017 F350 King Ranch. He also still owns his 1997 GMC Z71 pickup he bought new during his senior year of high school. Sarah takes Diesels serious as well, and uses a TDI Volkswagen Passat as her daily driver. We have four children, our son Ryatt, who was born early in 2011 our oldest daughter Jaycee, who was born July 12, 2013 and our baby girl Leah, who was born Feb. 5th 2016, and our newest addition, John Wayne born 11-23-2018. We have both graduated from Kansas State University with BS Degrees in 2002 and Sarah earned her Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Special Education in 2004. Due to our normal work schedules, we are avaliable to show trucks after 4:00pm and on the weekends. Other times may be avaliable upon request and during normal school breaks and during summer break. We do take truck trade ins and David has also been known to take interesting offers every once in a while. We have no additional fees other than the state required 7.50% sales tax and a small fee, if you need a 60 day tag.
